GST emSigner error
- emSigner Not Started / Not Running
- Ensure emSigner is installed on your system.
- Run emSigner as Administrator
- Right-click the emSigner shortcut → Run as Administrator
- Open http://127.0.0.1:1585 in your browser to verify it's running.
- Check that port 1585 or 2095 is not blocked by antivirus/firewall.
Digital Signature Certificate Not Detected
- Ensure the USB DSC token is properly inserted.
- Install the latest DSC drivers (e.g., Hyp2003, ProxKey, TrustKey).
- Use Internet Explorer (11) or Chrome with old security settings, as newer versions may restrict Java applets and plugins.
- Open emSigner and refresh the GST page before signing.
- Ensure your DSC is registered on the GST portal
- Log in to GST portal → Dashboard → Register/Update DSC
- Follow the registration process
- Check your DSC validity period
- Try a different USB port
Java Issues
- Install Java 8 (recommended version).
- Configure Java security settings to allow GST portal
- Clear Java cache.
Windows-Specific Fixes
- Use Windows 7/10 (64-bit), preferably.
- Browser Google Chrome
- Internet Explorer 11 (preferred for DSC)
